a presentation of reinterpretations of some historical workers' songs as well as own compositions with kind support of the choir of schwankhalle bremen. the performance, situated on a floating stage in the atrium of a white cube museum, poses question of pop and ‘high’ culture in the visual arts. the work examines voice and collective singing as a drive for cross-class community building and a processing valve for class-related hurdles and doubts that are considered as systemized in society.
